There is really no symbol that represents the prepping lifestyle. There has been some chatter and action amongst other prepping groups and they have come up with a crude logo. The logo they are trying to push is easily deciphered, and has no symbolic meaning. In our opinion it does not represent the prepping community well. In most circles there are many Preppers that feel there needs to be a logo or symbol, however on the flip side, the reasonable argument for OPSEC (Operational Security) takes precedence, and they would never “advertise” a logo to let people know what they do. A symbol, or logo discreetly displayed will let fellow Preppers know you are a like minded individual. It creates a networking opportunity. This symbol is easily recognized by Preppers but not easily known by those that have to ask it’s meaning. We trust people from within our community, however you need to know what to look for and how to identify them.
These are now available in sticker form.

Everything about the symbol has meaning. It tells a story. The symbol consists of a three and an arrow. In the military, you are considered mission ready when the 3 B’s are fulfilled. Beans, bullets, and bandages. These same principles apply to the prepper. Beans represents food and water, the bullets represents firearms and ammo, and the bandages represent medical. The 3 also represents the survival rule of 3’s. The arrow completes the B and represents self-reliance. The ability to hunt, or to defend. The fletchings on the arrow represent 3 skill sets that can be color coded to let other preppers know your skills. The top fletching is your strongest skill, and so on down the line. For example Red would represent medical skill, green would represent agriculture skill, and purple would represent religious/ spiritual skills.
The symbol is now available for order, and we are looking to have a variety of product available. The symbol is discreet, and not something that you will easily figure out, and if they have to ask, they don’t know. We would love to hear your comments, if you have an opinion, please post it below in the comments box….
